Every morning at La Taza de Café, our ovens fire up before dawn — so the neighborhood wakes to the smell of freshly baked bread, buttery croissants, and carefully pulled espresso shots.
48-hour fermented, crusty artisan loaves pulled fresh every morning.
La Taza de Café opened its doors on Beverly Boulevard with a simple conviction: that the best food starts with honest ingredients and patient hands. Our bakers arrive before sunrise to build sourdough starters, fold laminated dough, and shape loaves by eye.
Beyond the counter, our pantry shelves carry a curated selection of olive oils, international pantry staples, and seasonal produce — everything we'd want in our own kitchen. It's a grocery store the way a neighborhood general store should feel: personal, intentional, and stocked with things you'll reach for again.
Whether you're grabbing a morning cortado and a warm empanada or planning dinner around a jar of our house-made salsa, we're glad you're here.
